Cultra Manor Wedding
Where do I even start when it comes to describing Lauren & Murray’s Cultra Manor wedding. For many couples, the weather can make or break their day. We had everything from sunshine, wind, torrential rain and thunder all inside the space of a few hours. Lauren & Murray took everything in their stride and it really made a huge difference. One piece of advice I would offer is do not stress about the weather! As an experienced Northern Ireland wedding photographer, I will always have a Plan A, B and quite often C! If it’s raining on your wedding day, you might find you have to react quickly to the conditions and dash outside for short periods in between the showers.
Wedding Photos At Cultra Manor
After a gorgeous ceremony in Cultra Manor, we headed outside for a group photo of all the guests, followed by family and bridal party photos. We had to make the most of the dry spells so having all the family and bridal party together in the one area made things much smoother and faster. It’s always a good idea to have an idea of what family groups you would like taken so that we can run through them as efficiently as possible.
Ulster Folk Museum
After this it was up to the Folk Museum for couples portraits.
When planning a wedding at Cultra Manor, the closest spot for your wedding photos is the Folk Museum. There are so many options – both inside and out – so even if it rains on your wedding day, you’ll have loads of options available.
We timed things really well and the rain seemed to stop at just the right time. We made the most of the dry spells and spent some time exploring all the little cobbled streets, houses and shops. The Folk Museum is a really quirky location and really works well for wedding photos, although I imagine it could be really busy on Saturdays as it is also open to the public.
Here are a few of my highlights from Lauren & Murray’s wedding at Cultra Manor.
