The Culloden Estate is located between Belfast and Bangor, on the Bangor Road just outside the town of Holywood. It is only a 14 minute drive from the city centre of Belfast and 12 minutes from Bangor. If you’re planning your wedding at the Culloden from abroad, then the closest airport is the George Best City Airport and is only a short 8 minute drive away.
Why Have Your Wedding at the Culloden Estate & Spa?
It’s not hard to see why the Culloden Estate & Spa is such an incredible venue for your wedding in Northern Ireland. It is 5 star luxury! The Culloden used to be a former palace, so it oozes beauty and style. It is also full of amazing locations for your wedding photos.
Fancy a stress free wedding?
Then many couples opt to hold their wedding ceremony at the Culloden as well. This cuts down so much on the potential stress of a wedding day. The entrance of the Stuart Suite is the perfect ceremony spot, surrounded by the stunning spiral staircase. The Culloden also has many amazing Suites for Bridal Prep on the morning of the wedding which cuts down the stress even more!
Hiring Your Culloden Estate Wedding Photographer
No matter what time of year you plan your wedding in Northern Ireland, you always have to consider the weather. Whilst the Culloden have the most amazing grounds for your wedding photos when it is dry, what happens if it rains?? Then don’t panic, I’ve shot many wet weddings at the Culloden and they have a multitude of amazing spots indoors for all your wedding photos.
If you’re planning a summer wedding at the Culloden, then you have the bonus of vibrant colours! Their gardens make the most amazing backdrop for your wedding photos, especially the picturesque little Honey Suckle Cottage.
One of my favourite times of the year is Autumn. If you plan your wedding at the Culloden during October & November, not only can you make the most of the autumn colours, but you also have the chance to catch the setting sun before dinner…
